SussexIM’s Keith Everson has just announced that his firm finalized the purchase of the North American cosmetic compact business from the Albéa Group.

This includes the reacquisition of the Albéa Innovation Center — and it gives SussexIM the autonomy to deal directly with cosmetics customers, growing its relationships with leading brand owners.

These customers will benefit from SussexIM’s ability to accelerate time-to-market, thanks to the company’s accelerated decision-making capabilities and shortened supply chains, according to the company’s president and founder, Keith Everson.

SussexIM’S cosmetic packaging capabilities include extensive automation design and an in-house, dedicated staff of automation engineers.

Its customers include L’Oreal, Revlon, Mary Kay, Neutrogena and Elizabeth Arden. SussexIM had been part of Rexam’s Plastic Packaging Group until a management buyout in 2010. Since then, the company has enjoyed annual double-digit growth.

“We have proudly delivered superior, innovative molding, decoration and assembly solutions for many of the industry’s most demanding and respected cosmetics companies. With the purchase of our cosmetic production assets, we can seamlessly and efficiently serve this exciting industry and deliver the quality, experience and return-on-investment SussexIM has long been known for,” said Everson.
